The Royal Institute of Navigation, UK, Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Rijeka, Croatia, and Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, Croatia have the privilege of welcoming you to the 13th Annual RIN Baška GNSS Conference to be held on 12 – 15 May, 2019 in Baška, Krk Island, Croatia.
This global event gathers worldwide experts in satellite navigation and related disciplines. The conference scope covers satellite navigation resilience and positioning, navigation and timing applications development.
Graduate Students in Sytems and Control Theory 2019
The call for presentations for the annual workshop of graduate students, GSC ’19, has been issued with a closing date of 23 March 2019. Graduate students in Systems and Control, from Israeli universities have been invited to present their latest research results.
These meetings provide an opportunity for graduate students to present their work to senior faculty members and to interested delegates from industry. At the same time they become acquainted with the work of their peers.

Pacific PNT 2019
The (US) Institute of Navigation’s Pacific PNT Conference is a global cooperative development of Positioning, Navigation and Timing technology and applications where policy and technical leaders from Japan, Singapore, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Australia, the United States and more meet to discuss policy updates, receive programme status updates and exchange technical information.
Special topic sessions will concern BeiDou, Cosmic / Formosat and QZSS.

Munich Satellite Navigation Summit
The Munich Satellite Navigation Summit is an conference with global impact dealing with satellite navigation now and in the future. The one-of-a-kind convention of high-ranking worldwide speakers from industry, science and governments provides the participants with a broad overview and different perspectives on the latest developments in the field of GNSS.
The Summit is part of the efforts of the Bavarian government and the cluster on aerospace and satellite navigation to stimulate applications and services in this high-tech field.
e-Navigation Underway 2019
News has been received from IALA and the Danish Maritime Authority that the ninth in the series of e-Navigation Underway International Conferences will be held from 6 to 8 February 2019 and focus on the implementation of e- Navigation solutions. This event brings together international e-Navigation experts from around the world.
Guidance from outer space
How accurate is GPS? Do more satellites make for more accuracy? How do you know if you’re being jammed or spoofed? Can the US turn off GPS?
In addition to addressing these questions, Mr John Pottle, president of the IAIN, will review the latest alternative and complementary positioning technologies, the use of big data techniques and augmented reality.
There will be the opportunity for informal discussion in the Wardroom Bar before and afterwards.
ION ITM & PTTI
ITM and PTTI 2019 are co-located, one registration fee covers two technical events, a commercial exhibit, and the 50th Anniversary of PTTI.
– ITM is the ION’s winter meeting with peer-reviewed technical papers related to positioning, navigation and timing and includes the ION Fellows and Annual Awards presentations.
– PTTI is the annual technical conference designed to disseminate and coordinate PTTI information at the user level; review present and future PTTI requirements; inform government and industry engineers, technicians and managers of precise time and frequency technology and its problems; and provide an opportunity for an active exchange of new technology associated with PTTI.
At the same time a special joint plenary session will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of PTTI.
ITM/PTTI 2019 will also feature a technical exhibit and showcase of products and services related to positioning, navigation and timing.
