ENRI International Workshop on ATM/CNS -EIWAC2009 “Towards Future ATM/CNS”
The ENRI International Workshop on ATM/CNS (EIWAC2009) will be organized by the Electronic Navigation Research Institute with the support of the Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan. The workshop will open on Thursday, 5th March 2009 at the Otemachi Sankei Plaza, Tokyo, Japan and conclude on Friday, 6th March. ENRI is a research institution established by Japanese Government and has been actively supporting the JCAB on CNS/ATM systems for more than 40 years.
The workshop offers an opportunity not only to share information on the
progress of Research, Development and Implementation activities being
carried out in various part of the world such as NextGen in the U.S. and
SESAR in Europe but also to promote discussion on the possible future
activities among administrations and researchers. On the first day the
workshop participants will be presented master plans and on-going activities of the U.S., Europe and Japan. Then on the second day, two simultaneous sessions on Research and Development will be organized in the morning and afternoon. Topics of each session are planned as follows:
Thursday: Master Plans and On-Going Activities
Friday Morning: Trajectory Management and Related Topics, CNS Enablers
Friday afternoon:Airport Management and Its Performance Safety and Human Factor Issues
